Ain is a land of cycling

The geography of our department is particularly conducive to the organization of a high-level race. Plains, mountains, valleys constitute a variety of reliefs which give this competition its particular character.
The Tour de l’Ain is a playground that prepares young talents for entry into the big leagues. The current figures of French cycling all showed their promising potential at the end of a fiercely contested battle. The roads of Ain reveal champions !

The Department is therefore proud to be associated, as every year, with this major Aindinois sporting event which deserves all the support of the community. This is essential for the tourist economy and the promotion of active mobility, for our sporting ambition and the attractiveness of the region. The organization of events as important as the Tour de l’Ain greatly contributes to making the department a dynamic territory.

For this, I would like to thank all the volunteers who make this meeting possible, as well as the organizing committee.
Thanks to them, Ain is a central stage for French cycling, a demanding and friendly cycling land !

President of the Department of Ain

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is the great cycling region. .Each year, the Region is proud to host emblematic races which are always great festive and popular moments for our territory and its inhabitants and the Tour de l’Ain is a great example.

Between plain and mountain, the race provides exciting stages in each edition, during which runners can express both their combativeness and their climbing skills, while showcasing the rich natural heritage of Ain.

More than a sport, cycling conveys essential values: work, perseverance, surpassing oneself. Supporting the Tour de l’Ain is also a way for the Region to promote them, particularly among younger generations.

Good competition to the competing riders !

Solimut Mutuelle de France and the Tour de l'Ain have a long history of partnership based on the values of trust, friendship and simplicity.

Solimut Mutuelle de France began this adventure in 1996 by participating in the project to create a publicity caravan.
Over the years, the partnership has grown, with Solimut Mutuelle de France becoming a partner of the white jersey, the best young rider jersey and, for the last 5 years, a partner of the yellow jersey.
The Tour de l'Ain has grown alongside Solimut Mutuelle de France, progressing to become recognised as one of the finest cycling races in France, without ever forgetting its values, which Solimut Mutuelle de France shares.

On the Solimut Mutuelle de France stand, shared with 01 Diabète, the Blood Donors, Oxance and this year, for the first time, with the sports branch of the Lyon Civil Hospitals, an activity based around the bike smoothie will be offered with a focus on sport and health.

Sport contributes to good health, and cycling isn't just about the pros - it's also a passion for thousands of enthusiasts, a game for children and an environmentally-friendly way of getting around.
The Tour de l'Ain gives thousands of people the chance to enjoy a high-quality spectacle free of charge. Cycling is a popular sport accessible to all.
You might think that cycling is only an individual sport, but it is also a team sport based on the values of mutual aid and solidarity, values shared by Solimut Mutuelle de France.
