New for 2024, the Tour de l’Ain randonnées sponsored by Crédit Mutuel are organized on the morning of the 1st stage and 3rd professional stage over a distance of 20 to 35 kilometers. The route follows the first kilometers of the professional race.
The rides are free and open to everyone aged 10 and over. Participants can take part in one or more days. Electric bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes and tandems are allowed.
With this new format, Crédit Mutuel and the Comité d’Organisation du Tour de l’Ain wanted to further promote cycling for all and healthy sports. After the professionals, the U17s and the cyclo, dozens more participants have joined the event, which celebrates its 36th birthday this summer.
